There appears to be a fairly recent phenomena to give every subject known to mankind its own day to celebrate. International Smoking Day, International No Smoking Day, International Annoy People By Declaring Something To Have Its Own Day Day etc.

I was searching for something to illustrate whilst compiling a visual diary during 2012 – I think I'd run out of ways to depict rain. At the same time I was exploring the idea of creating an image using only one shape – akin to writing a song with one chord. The 'archway' shape was perfect.

International Cleavage Day is celebrated worldwide on March 31st.
